Obama: Libya Action has Saved Thousands
( a preview of Obama's upcoming address to the nation on Monday.. )
This is probably true- however it does nothing to explain why the action is in the interests of the United States, nor does it address exactly why we are supporting the same side as Al Qaeda.
It says nothing to address why we have committed military forces in Libya, and not Egypt, Syria, Yemen, etc., that are also suffering at the hands of the government forces in those Arab States.
