The media never fail to amaze me.
Anyone who knows anything whatsoever knows that this so-called "supercommittee" has been doing absolutely nothing but disagree since its inception.
Not that that's disagreeable to yours truly, per se, since i personally hold no illusions that they, or any other group, can magically fix the US debt situation with any sort of agreement.
The tough choices have to be made.
The tough choices will absolutely not be made, and the credit downgrade will happen.
