CNN apologizes for guest's use of the term "crosshairs"

The so-called "mainstream media" are pulling out all the stops to perpetuate the fallacy that there is some sort of 'language crisis' in the US. They continue with their seemingly endless rants calling for the end of "vitriolic rhetoric", no matter that they themselves are the perpetrators of said vitriol the overwhelming majority of the time.

My take on all this is that they have failed miserably to win the hearts and minds of the citizens with their Progressive-slanted "news" coverage, so they have changed tactics; they are simply going to inundate us with apologies for 'inapproriate language", and it seems they are going to continually talk about the rhetoric of everyone except themselves.

They continue to act as if the Tucson murderer was a lucid human being that was swayed by anyone's rhetoric.

They are simply going to keep banging us over the head with this, keep telling their lie enough times in hopes that people will gradually start to believe it as the truth.

In the immortal words of Obi-wan Kenobe,

"These are not the droids you are looking for............"

CNN's John King: "Before we go to break, I want to make a quick point. We were having a discussion about the Chicago mayoral race. My friend Andy Shaw used the term 'in the crosshairs' in talking about the candidates. We're trying, we're trying to get away from that language. Andy is a good friend, he's covered politics for a long time, but we're trying to get away from that kind of language."
