Mind you, I could personally give two craps about a Koran, and Islam in general.
I'm an extremely Conservative, even moderately Libertarian fella, and a devout Christian follower of Jesus Christ as the risen Lord and Saviour.
However, I do disagree with this Preacher in Florida's idea to burn Korans as a misguided publicity stunt.
As a Christian, I believe what he was proposing is wrong, and that book burnings, even the Koran, is never the answer.
Hitler burned books.
Stalin burned books.
Mao Tse Tung burned books.
Fidel Castro burned books.
The list could go on and on.
This is the United States of America.
Book burning should never be encouraged.
However, to jail someone to "prevent" an act, especially one that isn't illegal to begin with, is even more un-American than burning the damn books.
What the hell is Buchanan thinking on this one?
